Being one of the largest, highest, and most abundant reserves in China, Hoh Xil is located in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, about 200 kilometers west of Golmud City in Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Province. Besides, it is also the world's third largest no-man land. With the absence of human, Hoh Xil has preserved its primitive state—a beautiful landscape including valleys, glaciers, mounds, stone forests and boiling springs.

In addition to antelopes, visitors can also catch a sight of wild yaks, wild donkeys, white-lipped deer and brown bears, which are all native to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
