Longhu Mountain is located in Yingtan City, Province, consisting of six major scenic areas: Xianshuiyan, Longhu Mountain, Shangqing Palace, Hongwu Lake, Mazu Rock, and Yingtian Mountain. It is said that during the middle period of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Celestial Master Zhang practiced alchemy here, and when he succeeded, dragons and tigers appeared, hence the name of the mountain. Longhu Mountain also became the birthplace of Chinese Taoism and the ancestral court of the Zhengyi School of Taoism.

The holy of Taoism, the blue waters and red cliffs, and the ancient cliff tombs are known as the “three wonders” of Longhu Mountain. The ancient architectural complex of Celestial Master's Mansion, where generations of Celestial Masters lived, still stands, laid out in the pattern of the Eight Trigrams and grand in scale. In an area spanning dozens of square kilometers, there are ancient cliff tomb clusters from the Spring and Autumn Period to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. A large of historical sites such as Shangqing Palace, Zhengyi Temple, Well of Exorcising Spirits, Feiyun Pavilion, and Doulv Palace have been gradually restored.

The blue waters and red cliffs of Longhu Mountain are situated 20 kilometers southwest of Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province, within the jurisdiction of Guixi City. During the middle period of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhang Daoling, the founder of the Zhengyi School, once practiced alchemy here. has it that when the elixir was completed, dragons and tigers appeared, and thus the mountain got its name.

Longhu Mountain features typical scenery and is the birthplace of Chinese Taoism. According to Taoist classics, Zhang Sheng, the fourth-generation descendant of Zhang Ling, moved to Longhu Mountain during the or Western Jin Dynasty. Since then, the descendants of Celestial Master Zhang have resided in Longhu Mountain.
