On September 26, the establishment of the Chinese Medicine Health Preservation Working Committee of the China Population Culture Promotion Association and the first Chinese Medicine Health Preservation Industry Development Conference were held at the National People's Congress Convention Center. Nearly 500 representatives from across the country engaged in the Chinese medicine health preservation industry as well as individuals who support and are enthusiastic about Chinese medicine health preservation attended the conference. This was a meeting aimed at promoting the Law of the People's Republic of China on Traditional Chinese Medicine, earnestly implementing the Chinese Medicine Health Preservation Service Standards issued by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine on April 26, 2023. Its purpose is to comprehensively promote high-quality development within the Chinese medicine health preservation industry. The promulgation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Traditional Chinese Medicine formally established the legal status of the Chinese medicine health preservation service industry at the national level and indicated the state's supportive attitude towards its development. The Chinese Medicine Health Preservation Service Standards set out a series of professional standard requirements for the entry mechanism, service content, technical standards, education and training, etc., of the Chinese medicine health preservation industry; meanwhile, it explicitly stipulates that social organizations in the Chinese medicine health preservation industry should play a role in self-regulation regarding service quality, service content, training guidance, reputation maintenance, etc. This marks a historic step from free operation under market conditions to regulated development under state policy, with great milestone significance.

They provided specific interpretations of national policies and regulations related to Chinese medicine health preservation, as well as reports on topics like the culture of raising children in a major nation and Chinese medicine sleep technology. Song Jianping, Secretary-General of the China Population Culture Promotion Association, announced the approval for the establishment of the Chinese Medicine Health Preservation Working Committee and presented certificates to President Mingda Huang and Secretary-General Yong Pang. Finally, President Huang and Secretary-General Pang delivered speeches on the cultural background of the establishment of the Chinese Medicine Health Preservation Working Committee within the context of the broad scope of traditional Chinese medicine, its historical significance in the new era of traditional Chinese medicine, and the organization and functional structure of the industry platform, which resonated strongly with the participants and generated a warm response. This marked the opening of new tracks, forms, patterns, journeys, and eras for the development of the Chinese medicine health preservation industry.
