Basic Introduction to Nanchong Silk Nanchong silk is one of the traditional Han Chinese silk crafts, named after its production in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. Nanchong is located in the northeast of the Sichuan Basin and the middle reaches of the Jialing River.
