Basic Introduction to Shuicheng KiwifruitShuicheng kiwifruit is produced in Shuicheng County, Guizhou Province. The total planned area of the Shuicheng Kiwifruit Industry Park is 65,760 mu (approx. 4384 hectares). Shuicheng kiwifruit belongs to the Chinese variety, with large fruit size, neat and beautiful shape, green skin, jade-green flesh when ripe, a red center when cut horizontally, and radiating blood-red stripes evenly distributed around the center, resembling a radiant rising sun, making it extremely beautiful.Morphological CharacteristicsThe fruit ripens from August 15th to September 10th. Each fruit weighs 82.7g, with soluble solids ranging from 19.6% to 25.6%, total sugar at 13.54%, total acid at 0.49%, and 135.77mg of vitamin C per 100g of fruit pulp. It has a slightly sour yet intensely sweet taste, a rich fragrance, a long-lasting aftertaste, excellent texture, and high quality. Shuicheng red-fleshed kiwifruit has strong firmness and only begins to soften after reaching eight-tenths ripeness. Its post-ripening period is relatively long, giving it good storage and transportation capabilities. It can be stored for 10 to 30 days at room temperature and 5 to 6 months under conditions of 0-4°C.
