Basic Introduction to Panjin Alkaline Land Tomato
The Panjin Alkaline Land Tomato is a specialty of Panjin City, which is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Liaoning Province, located in the central area of the Liao River Delta and at the mouth of the Liao River.
The Panjin Alkaline Land Tomato is grown under the natural conditions of the unique high-saline-alkaline soil and irrigation water of Panjin, integrating superior varieties with specific cultivation methods to produce tomatoes with unique flavor, high-quality characteristics, and high nutritional value. The fruit of the Panjin Alkaline Land Tomato is bright red, thick-fleshed, sweet, juicy, and has an excellent taste, suitable for eating fresh or cooked.
The minerals and some trace elements in saline-alkaline land are richer than in other soils, so the “Alkaline Land Tomatoes” grown here are rich in various minerals and vitamins. The content of lycopene is also significantly higher than in ordinary tomatoes.
