Dazeshan Grapes are produced in Dazeshan Town, Pingdu City, Shandong Province, and are one of the well-known specialties of Shandong Province with a cultivation history spanning over a hundred years. The Dazeshan Grapes have a unique flavor, excellent quality, large clusters, full berries, bright colors, thin skins, tender flesh, and a pleasant taste. There are more than a dozen varieties widely cultivated, with Muscat being the most extensively planted. Nutritional Value
Analysis shows that they contain 0.5-1% organic acids, with a pH value around 3.1, 0.5-0.9% protein, 0.3-0.5% minerals, as well as various vitamins and ascorbic acid and amino acids. Regular consumption has the effects of softening blood vessels, moisturizing skin, aiding weight loss, and preventing cancer. There is a saying: “They look beautiful to the eye, do not drip when cut with a knife, taste sweeter than honey, and leave a fresh and fragrant aftertaste in the mouth.”
Product Characteristics
The grapes produced in Dazeshan have several distinctive features:
Firstly, they have large clusters and full berries with bright colors, which make them visually appealing and highly favored;
Secondly, they are refreshingly tasty, dense yet crisp, with a balanced mix of sweetness and acidity, and a rich, pure flavor. The flesh is soluble, releasing abundant juice upon eating, providing a comfortable and pleasant taste, while also being very dense. Even low-sugar varieties like Longyan can be sliced with a knife without the juice spilling out, earning them the reputation of “cuttable”;
Thirdly, they have high sugar content, with analysis showing a sugar content of 17-23.5%, reaching up to 33% at its highest, providing 700-900 calories per kilogram to the human body. They are not only suitable for fresh consumption but also excellent for winemaking;
Fourthly, they have medicinal value for curing ailments, strengthening the body, replenishing energy, and prolonging life.
