Cabbage is a common vegetable in our daily lives, and due to its rich nutritional content, it has also been included in traditional Chinese medicine. Of course, because of cabbage's unique texture, it is loved by many people, and crispy fried cabbage is one of the popular cooking methods.
Method 1 for Crispy Fried Cabbage
Ingredients Preparation
Cabbage, water, chopped green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, salt, monosodium glutamate (MSG), vegetable oil.
Steps
1. Wash the cabbage, cut it into uniform thin strips, slice the ginger, chop the green onions, and slice the garlic.
2. Add water to a pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then add the chopped cabbage and blanch for about 15 seconds. Remove and drain.
3. While the cabbage is draining, sprinkle salt and MSG on top of the blanched cabbage.
4. In another wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 6-7 on the heat scale, then add the ginger, green onions, and garlic to sauté and add a few drops of soy sauce.
5. After stirring the soy sauce in the pan, add the drained cabbage, turn up the heat to high, and stir-fry for 10-15 seconds before serving.
Method 2 for Crispy Fried Cabbage
Ingredients Preparation
Cabbage, red pepper, garlic, light soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, MSG, vegetable oil.
Steps
1. Wash all ingredients. Tear the cabbage into large pieces and drain; mince the garlic and slice the peppers.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan until it reaches 5-6 on the heat scale, then lower the heat and add the garlic and peppers to sauté.
3. After a moment, add the cabbage, turn up the heat, add light soy sauce and salt, and stir-fry evenly.
4. After 2 minutes, add MSG and sesame oil for seasoning, stir-fry evenly, and serve.
Method 3 for Crispy Fried Cabbage
Ingredients Preparation
Cabbage, wood ear fungus, red pepper, soy sauce, vegetable oil, chicken essence, salt, green onions, ginger, garlic, Sichuan pepper.
Steps
1. Clean all ingredients. Cut the cabbage into chunks and drain. Tear the wood ear fungus into pieces and slice the red pepper into long strips. Mince the green onions, ginger, and garlic.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan, then lower the heat and add Sichuan pepper, minced green onions, ginger, and garlic to sauté briefly until fragrant.
3. Add a little soy sauce, stir with a spatula, then add the red pepper, turn up the heat, and stir-fry briefly before adding the cabbage.
4. Stir-fry everything in the pan evenly, then add salt and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add chicken essence for seasoning, stir-fry evenly, and serve.
